Is this an old Madonna MTV? Lady Gaga’s “Alejandro” video goes viral

So Lady Gaga’s newest music video for “Alejandro” just came out. Now that her video for “Bad Romance” currently reigns as the most watched in YouTube, I’m sure this will follow suit.

The MTV for Alejandro is pure Gaga: Dramatic, over-the-top, bordering on soft-core porn, and often unnecessary.

After seeing it, I can’t help but see certain themes of Madonna’s earlier videos. People say Lady Gaga is the new Madonna. But I guess, Lady Gaga’s more…for lack of a better term, ‘pointless.’

I simply don’t get her videos. Is she supposed to push avant-garde?  She’s entertaining and I like her music but I’m not sure what her point is.

I often find myself liking her music but abhorring the MTV for it. Is it just me? Anyway, here’s the Alejandro video and the other Madonna videos I see resemble it. Go!

  1. Lady Gaga’s new video, “Alejandro” is one of the most vile and offensive videos in recent memory. The new video is filled with cut and dry anti-Christian/Catholic references all over the place (Including upside down crosses in her crotch), homosexual men simulating sex acts , a satanic and Nazi looking backdrop. Parents who let their kids watch this garbage should be jailed for idiocy. Christian, Catholic or Atheist, this is absolute trash.

Clearly “Gaga” is trying to push the line as far as she can go, attempting to be the Madonna of the 21st Century. Sadly, she fails in every manner Madonna ever excelled. She lacks the looks, the moves, the voice and the inspiration. Lady Gaga however does have a GREAT NAME and a moderately interesting look but thankfully she will fade.

  2. some poeple hate Lady Gaga, but in my opinion Lady Gaga is just a very talented and unique artist _
